Apprentice of the quarter – Matthew
Congratulations to Matthew Dowling, who has been recognised as one of our Apprentices of the Quarter!
Matthew was nominated by his Apprenticeship Manager, Helen Banning, in recognition of his hard work, commitment and continued development throughout his apprenticeship.
Matthew is a Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor at M & K Ltd, where he has already made a fantastic impression, being awarded Employee of the Month during his very first month with the organisation.
Reflecting on his apprenticeship journey so far, Matthew said:
“My experience as an apprentice with CoTrain has been really positive, and I have received a great amount of support throughout my apprenticeship.
When my placement with BAM came to an end, CoTrain were extremely supportive in helping me find a new placement, allowing me to continue my apprenticeship and gain experience in a different area of construction. I have since moved to M & K, where I am developing my knowledge of groundworks and concrete frame construction.
Helen and Mark have been particularly supportive throughout my apprenticeship, regularly checking in on my progress, recognising my achievements and helping me develop both personally and professionally. Their support and encouragement have given me the confidence to take on new responsibilities and continue progressing towards my goals.
My long-term ambition is to progress into project management, and I am grateful to CoTrain for the opportunities, guidance and continued support they have provided throughout my journey so far.”
Congratulations, Matthew, on this well-deserved recognition. We wish you continued success as you progress towards your future goals!
