Apprentice of the quarter – Joyau
Joyau is one of our winners of Apprentices of the quarter. He was nominated by his Apprentice Manager Sarah Hall for his great work and dedication.
Upon receiving this award, Joyau commented “I feel incredibly proud and grateful to have received Apprentice of the Quarter. It’s a great recognition of the hard work and progress I’ve put in, and it motivates me to keep learning, improving, and giving my best.”
He is hosted by Gallford Try, Adrian Griffiths, Senior Site Manager had this to say about Joyau
“Joyau is a reliable, dependable, and responsible member of the team who consistently exceeds the expectations of his current role. He has taken ownership of the daily diaries, this gets him out on site and talking with people, his confidence growing also.
He has also taken the lead on drone and 360° site progress captures, while recording and marking up drainage drawings and undertaking a range of management functions, which is highly valued by the wider team and senior management.
Throughout the start of the project, and previously at Hargood, I have developed a high level of trust in Joyau. I am confident that when he is given a task, it will be completed to a good standard. He is currently taking responsibility for setting up the new site offices, ordering materials, and I have seen a real drive from him to take on additional responsibilities, where I am teaching him about Temporary works and things we need to consider, as there is a great deal of responsibility.
I am currently overseeing his development in preparing permits to break ground, given his background in highways and rail, he demonstrates the right attitude, attention to detail, and thoroughness to take on the role of USC in the future.“
Congrats Joyau for all your hard work and we look forward to seeing your progress.
